A unique brand extension:

BEST PHOTOS is a unique brand extension created to compliment, but not duplicate the print and web content of Road & Track
a value added component of the brand. Launched in August 2012, it was featured on the "New and Noteworthy" page of Apple's iTunes Store.

The app is divided equally into 50 "Road" and 50 "Track" images, accessible by tapping the thumbnails on this page. I also built-in a pop-up "search-by manufacturer" panel, Meet the Photographers pop-up, and Feature stories pop-up.

This photo bookstore section featured all of the beautiful photo books we sold in the R&T e-commerce store. Viewers in the app were treated to scrollable windows that showed spreads from all of the featured books, and links directly to landing pages on our website to purchase the books.

The app was designed to allow readers to not only bookmark their favorite images, but to purchase  poster-sized prints as well, directly from the app.

I also included a smartphone-scannable icon on the bottom this spread that when scanned, played a promo video of the beautiful photos in the app and linked to the iTunes store to purchase the app.
